Ergänzungs-Bataillon vom Infanterie-Regiment 58

Das Bataillon wurde im Jahr 1937 in Herford, Wehrkreis VI, aufgestellt. Zur Aufstellung wurde das Ergänzungs-Bataillon Infanterie-Regiment 37 verwendet. Disziplinar unterstand das Bataillon dem Infanterie-Regiment 58. 1938 wurde das Bataillon zum I. Ergänzungs-Bataillon Infanterie-Regiment 58 umbenannt. Gleichzeitig entstand, ebenfalls in Herford, aus Abgaben vom gesamten Infanterie-Regiment 58 ein II. Ergänzungs-Bataillon Infanterie-Regiment 58. Das I. Ergänzungs-Bataillon wurde Anfang 1939 nach Osnabrück, ebenfalls Wehrkreis VI, verlegt. Danach blieben beide Bataillone bis zur Mobilmachung in ihren Garnisonen stationiert. Bei der Mobilmachung wurden beide Bataillone zur Aufstellung der 4. Welle verwendet. Das I. Ergänzungs-Bataillon bildete dabei das I. Bataillon vom Infanterie-Regiment 474 der 254. Infanterie-Division. Das II. Ergänzungs-Bataillon bildete das II. Bataillon vom Infanterie-Regiment 454 der gleichen 254. Infanterie-Division.

Ergänzungs-Bataillon 58

Das Ergänzungs-Bataillon 58 wurde im Jahr 1935 in Delmenhorst, Wehrkreis X, aufgestellt. Ab April 1936 wurde das Bataillon disziplinar dem Infanterie-Regiment 65 unterstellt. Im Oktober 1936 wurde das Bataillon zum Ergänzungs-Bataillon Infanterie-Regiment 65 umbenannt.
